Psychotherapy SIG online event
This is a free forum for members and non-members curious about enrichment and expansion of their relational and therapeutic role in a range of settings, to discuss the more hopeful possibility of being able to do more than just “medicate monitor and manage”.
ED nurses, midwives, general nurses and AOD counsellors as well as mental health nurses both credentialed and non-credentialed, are welcome to attend.
Are we complicit with a broken system? How do we dig ourselves out?
This forum will discuss strategic planning, progress made with building trauma-informed psychotherapy practice, and how this is different from "treatment as usual". The online event will provide an opportunity to review ethical and professional obligations as a professional group.
