About the role
We are seeking to appoint a suitably experienced and enthusiastic person to the position of Nurse Coordinator to provide managerial responsibilities to relevant services within the Acute directorate of CAMHS. In this role you will be responsible in partnership with the Head of Service, Acute Mental Health for the strategic development, coordination, integration, monitoring and evaluation of a designated specialist acute Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service at Perth Children’s Hospital.
You will also be responsible for the clinical and corporate governance of the service, managing the financial, physical and human resources of the service. You will further undertake direct line management responsibility for the multidisciplinary team working within the service.
Whilst this selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy, it may also be used to fill other "similar" vacancies throughout the health service. In addition to this, should the successful applicant decline or vacate the advertised vacancy, then the next most suitable applicant may also be selected from this process. Both of these options remain valid for a period of twelve (12) months from when the authorised delegate endorses the recruitment decision.
