About the organisation
An exciting opportunity exists in the role of Director of Nursing (DON) within Metro South Addiction and Mental Health Services (MSAMHS). MSAMHS provides inpatient, hospital-based and community mental health and community alcohol and drug services for all age groups at a number of campuses across Metro South Health.

About the role
In your role as Director of Nursing you will provide the coordination of and be accountable for service delivery, human and material management, expertise in the health care team, communication and highly developed data analysis and fiscal management to deliver safe, quality, effective and efficient healthcare provision. The position also shapes corporate and clinical governance in partnership with the MSAMHS executive team. The DON works collaboratively and supports the Executive Director of Nursing and Midwifery (EDNM) strategic direction, vision and health service priorities and may have delegated responsibilities to support the role.
