About the role
We have an exciting opportunity available for an experienced Senior Mental Health Clinician (Grade 4 Social Worker, Occupational Therapist, Clinical Psychologist, or Grade 5 Psychiatric Nurse) with a keen interest to join the Consultation & Liaison Psychiatry team and further develop your mental health skills and experience.
This position is based mainly at Maroondah and Box Hill Hospitals however there may be times where you will be required to support the CL teams at other Eastern Health sites.
About you
To be successful in this role you should possess:
- At least 5 years’ experience in a range of clinical mental health settings
- Post-graduate qualifications relevant to mental health
- A current Registration in Division 1 issued by the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency
- Grade 4 Social Worker, Occupational Therapist or Psychologist
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously, utilising well developed critical analysis skills to achieve efficiency and effectiveness
- Extensive experience in the area of clinical expertise in mental health with demonstrated ability to work with a diverse and complex professional workforce
- Interest and experience working in a multi and inter-disciplinary team environment
- Knowledge and expertise in the field of Consultation Liaison Psychiatry
Vaccination against infectious disease is a mandatory requirement of this role. An offer of employment is conditional on you providing evidence that you are currently vaccinated against COVID-19 with booster & Influenza, prior to commencing employment.
