About the role
We have exciting opportunities for caring Clinical Nurses to join our dedicated Mental Health team, in Dalby and Chinchilla. You will deliver community based mental health services to adult consumers, families and carers in the local community. Approaching clients with open, honest communication you will develop effective partnerships to ensure best practice health outcomes for recipients of mental health services.
Only 2 and a half hours from Brisbane and 45 minutes from Toowoomba, Dalby is the regional hub of the Western Downs with an agricultural heart producing cotton, wheat, sorghum, sunflowers and cattle.
Dalby Health Service provides emergency care, maternity, medical, surgical, outpatient and other specialist clinics to the community.
Chinchilla is situated approximately 1 hour west of Dalby and 3 and a half hours from Brisbane and while primary production remains a key industry with a focus on cattle, cotton, grain and melons, the area is part of the energy resource rich Surat Basin. Chinchilla is a vibrant and thriving community in the heart of the Western Downs Regional council with great schools and a diverse range of services and facilities. Chinchilla Health Service provides a range of health services including emergency care, specialist surgical services, several visiting allied health, community health, and outreach services to the local community.
