Kobie is the newly appointed Nursing Director (Mental Health Alcohol and Other Drugs) Advisor within the Office of the Chief Nurse Officer in Queensland.

Kobie has a Masters of Mental Health Nursing and is an experienced mental health nurse who is currently leading the Least Restrictive Way Project within the OCP, MHAODB in Queensland. This is exciting work will support the implementation of evidenced based interventions to reduce restrictive practices and improve the experience of care.

Kobie is an experienced nursing leader, mental health nurse educator and is nationally recognised for her work in clinical supervision. Kobie is the co-author of the Clinical Supervision Framework for Queensland Nurses and Midwives (2022), and she has a passion for building positive and supportive workplace cultures which support the delivery of compassionate, high quality, recovery oriented, trauma informed care.
