Welcome to the ACMHN Primary Health Special Interest Group

The Primary Health SIG has two main areas of focus:

1. Mental Health Nurses in Private Practice

2. Nurse working under the Mental Health Nurse Incentive Program

What is the PH SIG?

Specialist mental health nurses collaborate with the community and other health care providers to deliver nursing services in a primary health care environment.

The Australian College of Mental Health Nurses Primary Health Special Interest Group (ACMHN PPSIG) promotes development of, and support for mental health nurses who are providing services to the community in a private practice capacity or under the Mental Health Nurse Incentive Program.

It holds an annual conference as a forum for exchanging contemporary views and ideas on issues of common interest in mental health nursing, and to enhance the quality of care delivered.
